Mangal Bhaat Puja: Bhaat Puja is performed only in the Ujjain Avantika region in the entire world. Here, according to the Avantika section in Skandapuran, Lord Shri Mahamangal was born when a drop of sweat from the forehead of Lord Shiva fell on the earth in the Ujjain Avantika region. Lord Shri Mahamangal is known by the names Raktaksha, Bhoomiputra, etc., having red colour like ember. The Tropic of Cancer passes from the peak of the temple of Lord Shri Mahamangal. This temple is very ancient, and the worship done here removes Mangal Dosh. It is performed by us according to Vedic method.
